Expedited Sunset Reviews of AD/CV Duty Orders on Steel Line Pipe. The USITC has decided to conduct expedited sunset reviews of the AD and CV duty orders on circular welded carbon quality steel line pipe from mainland China. As opposed to full reviews, expedited reviews do not include a public hearing or the issuance of questionnaires.

Scheduling of Expedited Sunset Review of AD/CV Duty Orders on Woven Sacks. The USITC has scheduled the expedited sunset review of the AD and CV duty orders on laminated woven sacks from mainland China. The staff report will be placed in the non-public record on 11 July and a public version will be issued thereafter. Comments and statements are due by 18 July and may not contain new factual information.

Scheduling of Expedited Sunset Review of AD Duty Order on Garment Hangers. The USITC has scheduled the expedited sunset review of the AD duty order on steel wire garment hangers from mainland China. The staff report will be placed in the non-public record on 15 July and a public version will be issued thereafter. Comments and statements are due by 22 July and may not contain new factual information.

Scheduling of Expedited Sunset Review of AD Duty Order on Persulfates. The USITC has scheduled the expedited sunset review of the AD duty order on persulfates from mainland China. The staff report will be placed in the non-public record on 9 July and a public version will be issued thereafter. Comments and statements are due by 15 July and may not contain new factual information.

Remedies in IPR Probe of LED Lighting Devices and Power Supplies. The USITC has imposed limited exclusion and cease and desist orders in the Section 337 investigation of certain LED lighting devices, LED power supplies and components thereof from mainland China. Additionally, the USITC has set at three percent of entered value the bond amount under which infringing goods may continue to enter the United States during the 60-day period the president has to review the USITC’s remedy.

Remedy Comments Sought in IPR Probe of LED Lighting Devices. In its Section 337 investigation of certain LED lighting devices and components thereof from mainland China, the USITC’s presiding administrative law judge has found a violation involving certain patent claims. The USITC is inviting public comments by 15 July on (i) the form of remedy, if any, that should be ordered if a violation is found, (ii) the effects of any such remedy on the public health and welfare, competitive conditions in the U.S. economy, U.S. production of articles that are like or directly competitive with those that are subject to investigation, and U.S. consumers, and (iii) the amount of the bond under which infringing articles could continue to enter the United States during the 60-day period the president has to review any USITC-ordered remedy.
