Steel Racks Will Face AD/CV Duties. The USITC has issued a final affirmative injury determination in its AD and CV investigations of steel racks from mainland China. As a result, the DOC will issue AD and CV duty orders on imports of subject merchandise.

Scheduling of Final Phase of AD/CV Injury Investigation of File Cabinets. The USITC has scheduled the final phase of its AD and CV injury investigations of vertical file cabinets from mainland China. The pre-hearing staff report will be placed in the non-public record on 25 September and a public version will be issued thereafter; pre-hearing briefs and requests to appear at the hearing are due by 2 October; the pre-hearing conference will be held on 7 October; the hearing will be held on 8 October; post-hearing briefs are due by 15 October; and final comments are due by 5 November.

Scheduling of Final Phase of AD/CV Injury Investigation of Steel Threaded Rod. The USITC has scheduled the final phase of its AD and CV injury investigations of carbon and alloy steel threaded rod from mainland China. The pre-hearing staff report will be placed in the non-public record on 1 October and a public version will be issued thereafter; pre-hearing briefs are due by 8 October; requests to appear at the hearing must be submitted by 10 October; the pre-hearing conference will be held on 11 October; the hearing will be held on 15 October; post-hearing briefs are due by 22 October; and final comments are due by 8 November.

Full Sunset Review of AD/CV Duty Orders on Rectangular Pipe and Tube. The USITC has determined to conduct a full sunset review of the AD and CV duty orders on light-walled rectangular pipe and tube from mainland China. As opposed to expedited reviews, full reviews include a public hearing and the issuance of questionnaires.

Remedies in IPR Probe of LED Lighting Devices. The USITC has imposed a general exclusion order in the Section 337 investigation of certain LED lighting devices and components thereof from mainland China. Additionally, the USITC has set at 100 percent of entered value the bond amount under which infringing goods may continue to enter the United States during the 60-day period the president has to review the USITC’s remedy.
