USITC Notices

New IPR Probe of Wireless Communication Devices. The USITC has initiated an investigation to determine whether imports of certain wireless communication devices from mainland China are violating Section 337 of the 1930 Tariff Act by reason of patent infringement. The complainant requests that after these investigations the USITC issue limited exclusion orders as well as cease and desist orders.

IPR Probe of Carburettors Terminated. The USITC has terminated without the imposition of any measures its Section 337 investigation of certain carburettors and products containing such carburettors from Hong Kong and mainland China because the complainant failed to satisfy the domestic industry requirement.

Determination in IPR Probe of Cover Plates under Review.  The USITC has decided to partially review the final initial determination by the presiding administrative law judge finding a Section 337 violation in the on-going investigation of certain powered cover plates from mainland China.

Section 337 Investigation of Touch-Controlled Mobile Devices Amended. The USITC on 24 June instituted a Section 337 investigation of certain touch-controlled mobile devices, computers and components thereof from various sources, including mainland China. This investigation is now being amended to substitute certain respondents.
