Preliminary Affirmative AD/CV Injury Determination on Wood Mouldings and Millwork Products. The USITC has issued a preliminary affirmative injury determination in its AD and CV investigations of wood mouldings and millwork products from mainland China. The DOC is scheduled to issue its preliminary CV determination on or about 2 April and its preliminary AD determination on or about 16 June.

Remedy Comments Sought in IPR Probe of Nicotine Delivery Systems. In its Section 337 investigation of certain electronic nicotine delivery systems from mainland China, the USITC has determined to affirm a finding of violation and partially review the presiding administrative law judge’s initial determination. The USITC is seeking public input by 27 February on (i) the form of remedy, if any, that should be ordered if a violation is found, (ii) the effects of any such remedy on the public health and welfare, competitive conditions in the U.S. economy, U.S. production of articles that are like or directly competitive with those that are subject to investigation, and U.S. consumers, and (iii) the amount of the bond under which infringing articles could continue to enter the United States during the 60-day period the president has to review any USITC-ordered remedy.
