China's "Going Out" Initiative: Jiangsu / YRD Demand for Professional Services

China's 'Going Out' Initiative: Jiangsu/YRD Demand for Professional Services
Table of Content
Synopsis

As China’s economic powerhouses, the Jiangsu province and its neighbouring regions in the Yangtze River Delta (YRD) are actively accelerating the 'going out' policy of many businesses, while facilitating co-operation with foreign partners in order to upgrade and transform their enterprises. This is in line with China's rise to third place globally in terms of outward foreign direct investments (FDI), after the United States and Japan. Jiangsu companies and other YRD-based enterprises are now seeking third party professional services support as part of their 'going out' initiatives – with Hong Kong their first port of call.
