This study attempts to understand the jewellery consumer markets in 10 major Chinese cities, which includes tracking and understanding the changes in the consumption concept, the purpose of purchase, price sensitivity, brand positioning and the latest trends in jewellery consumption. Based on the survey findings, recommendations are made for Hong Kong companies wishing to venture into the mainland jewellery market.
